About The Artist
Matthew Kawaiola Sproat
Nā Hōkū Hanohano award winning musician, producer, composer, and story-teller, Matthew Kawaiola Sproat, is also a passionate woodworker.
Inspired by the beautiful landscapes of the Hawaiian Islands where he was born and raised, Matt spends many days hiking in the mountains or diving in the ocean.
It is in these serene settings that he designs many of the masterpieces he creates. When he’s not on tour with his band Waipuna, he’s often found in his wood shop on O’ahu hand-crafting jewelry for The Kealohi Collection.
